Contributing to the list will help other people to find events and also support the race organisers by finding more entrants.
To add an event, click on add an event, you will then need to login (or create an account).
Please add any UK events that you can attend to enjoy a run or walk that are held by an event organiser. Entry must be open to anyone (subject to minimum age, gender and qualifying standards). An event does not need to be a race, so could be a guided run, or where a finish time is not recorded.
First, please check the events list (which shows all confirmed events) and the pending list (which shows events added but are waiting to be reviewed before being shown on the events list) this is to avoid duplication of events.
If you believe your event has not already been added, click "Add an event" on the Event Listing.
7 pieces of information are required : (1) Date, (2) Outbound code (just the 1st half of the Postcode), (3) Whether it's for runners, walkers or both, (4) Event Name, (5) The organiser, please pick from the list or if not already there, then type in the box, (6) Website address for the event, please copy and paste from your browser when the event website page is displayed, and (7) The distance(s) either pick a "standard" distance, click on the distance field and click the applicable ones, or type the distance in other and Miles or KM as appropriate.
Events are classified as Run, Walk or Both. Events classified as Run or Walk are not necessarily exclusive to these disciplines, as often you can do either at each event. What is important is you do what is comfortable for you. For an event to be classified as Both there should be separate start times or a time limit, that will allow walkers to complete the same distance as a runner but at a different pace.
parkrun / parkwalk dates are added approximately 3 months in advance, these are shown for a generic location. We ask that you do not add individual locations or new dates further ahead than this timeframe for parkrun events.
If you would rather email the details of events not listed, then please send them to us at eventsupport@everyruncounts.co.uk
We will always aim to reply to emails within a day. If you have not received a reply please check your junk folders as it would appear that some are ending up there!
If you still cannot locate a response please email us again providing an alternative email address or a mobile phone so that we can re-send the messages.
